Roscoe Mutz
Bio
Roscoe Mutz is an attorney with a broad legal background, including commercial litigation, employment law (including drafting handbooks and policies, conducting investigations and training, and advice and representation regarding wage and hour law, discrimination and retaliation claims, restrictive covenants, and the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act), real estate disputes, financial and regulatory compliance and audit advice, and litigation. Roscoe has represented clients during all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation investigations through trial or arbitration and appeal. Roscoe holds leadership positions with several professional organizations, including serving as Chair of the Ethics & Professionalism Standing Committee, Co-Chair of the Law in Public Service Standing Committee, and Vice Chair of the Employment and Labor Law Committee for the American Bar Association, Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section; and serving on the Executive Council for the State Bar of Arizona, Labor & Employment Law Section. Roscoe is also active in the Tucson community, serving as Board President of Story Arts Group, Inc., a non-profit community storytelling organization that produces a live storytelling event and podcast called Odyssey Storytelling; pro bono counsel for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson; previous wish granter and Southern Arizona Ambassador Board member for Make-A-Wish Arizona; and former Board Vice President of Jr. El Tour, Inc., a youth cycling non-profit.
